CONGRATULATIONS
· Alyssa D’Antonio has received the Youthtowne Scholar Award for Our Lady of Sacred Heart
High School. She was among four recipients that received this award. This is a great
honor, and we are very proud of her!
· The following students were recently inducted into the Beaver Regional Honor League (A Junior High National
Honor Society): Noelle Azzam, Autumn Cejer, Madeline Davidson, Evalynn Farkas, Jessica Homol, Stephanie
Lias, Jimmy Lutz, Ashley Mutkus, Kristen Spezialetti, Bailey Tyler, Megan Wilt, and Jillian Zipfel.

PTG NEWS
· There is a 200 Club Meeting tonight at 6:30 PM. Please meet in the cafeteria
and bring with you any items you have collected for the baskets. Please see the letter in today’s
folder for anyone interested in advertising in the 200 Club program. Many tickets are also
still available. If you buy or sell one, you receive $100 credit toward your fundraising goal.
Also, the $15 toward the theme baskets is still being collected. To date we have 80 families that
have participated. Remember, the $15 goes toward your goal as well.

Yearbook Orders are now due. This
year the yearbooks are in color for only $14 per book. All grades from preschool 3’s through 8th
grade are included.
·
Fabulous Friday Raffle ticket number for 4/16/2010
was #997. It was unsold. Remember that you can still purchase tickets.
They are good for every Friday until 12/31/2010! You receive $31.50 toward every ticket that you
sell. Cost of the ticket is $50.
· Fun Run address requests are due now. Please return them as soon as possible
so that the children can send out their letters. They will be filling them out next week at school.
Remember, that 100% of the money they bring in goes toward your fundraising goal!

Flower Sale is in need of volunteers on Tuesday,
May 4th, at 2:30 when the truck will deliver over $8,000 dollars worth of flowers! We also need
volunteers on Wednesday, May 5th, starting at noon for those coming to pick-up their orders.
Any help at any time would be greatly appreciated.
· Chestnut Hill Candle orders are due this week!
ATHLETIC COACHES’ GIFT MONEY
–If you have not contributed toward the coaches’ gifts and would still like to do so,
please send the money in tomorrow and give it to Mrs. Colangelo.
ATHLETIC COACHES NEEDED FOR 2010-2011 – We are in need of a Cross Country
Assistant Coach and a Mini-Cheerleader Sponsor for next year. Anyone interested should send in a letter
of intent to Mrs. Liberatore. Also, all coaches need to turn in their keys. Please
send them into school or bring them to the banquet. Please have them in an envelope with your name.

Many thanks to West Air Comm Federal Credit Union in Aliquippa for generously not charging to count all our pennies and all
who gave to the Leukemia Society.

REGISTRATION AND FINANCIAL AID –
We are now nearing the end of our preliminary budgetary process. Unfortunately there are still
several families who have not sent back their registrations even though you have told me you are returning. Our
business manager will only include those names who have registered and either are current with tuition or have made other
arrangements. Please realize the importance in letting us know of your intentions.
TERRA NOVA TESTING – Students in Grades 2-8 will
begin their standardized testing on Monday. Please make sure that they get a good night’s sleep and
eat a healthy breakfast. They will also need two #2 pencils. They may bring bottled
water.
ATHLETIC NEWS

Banquet reservations are due by Friday April 9th.

9th. Orders will be going to Sport ‘n My Stuff on Monday. Any orders

to buy 50/50 tickets for the 200 Club. Winner need not be present. We are asking each
family to try to sell or buy 10 tickets. The cost is $1.00 per ticket.

There is information in today’s folder for the Annual Fatima
Fun Run! This year is going to be even more fun than last year! We encourage all families
to participate!

Pennies for Patients campaign will end on April 15th.
This benefits the Leukemia Society.
· We are still in need of Earth Day supplies: Peanut Butter, Pine Cones, newspapers, metal or plastic screens.
