JANUARY 31ST – FEBRUARY 5TH, 2010

“DIVIDENDS FOR LIFE”

 

SUNDAY, JANUARY 31ST              

Please join us for Holy Mass at 10:30 am.  The Outstanding Alumni Award will be given during the mass.  A FREE pancake and sausage breakfast will be served in Kohler Hall following the mass.  All are welcome!  The theme basket raffle will begin!  School Tours will also be available.

MONDAY, FEBRUARY 1ST

Science Olympiad Day!  Students in Grades 6th, 7th, and 8th, will be instructing students in grades K-8 in various age-appropriate science experiments from 8:45-10:00 am.  Various science professionals will be speaking and doing various activities with the students in the afternoon. 

TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 2ND

Read-a-thon Day!  Teachers will first be treated to a breakfast given by the PTG from 7:30-8:30 am.  Students in grades K-3 will have a “surprise guest “come to their room and read to them in the morning.  Author, Lisa Catanzarite, will visit with them and read to them from 12 -1:00 pm.  They may bring their favorite stuffed animal and blanket! Students in grades 4-8 will have the pleasure of listening to the author, Marc Harshman, from 9:00 – 10:00.  Twenty-five students will be selected to attend his Writing Workshop at 10:15 am.  They will have a “surprise guest” visit their rooms in the afternoon.

WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 3RD

Healthy Choice Day! The students will bring or prepare a healthy snack for a morning treat.  Alumna, Caralynn Arena, will conduct an exercise class for K-3 from 11:30 am – 12:30 pm, and from 12:45 – 1:45 for students in grades 4 – 8.  Students may wear sweat suits to school.  Come and join us at the Robinson Barnes and Noble from 6 – 9 pm.  The evening will be filled with music, crafts, storytelling, and academic presentations!!

THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 4TH

Spirit Day! The students may wear their green and white and show their school spirit!  There will be a pep assembly at 9:00 am.  The students will enjoy a Movie Day in the afternoon.  The PTG will provide an ice-cream bar as a special treat!

FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 5TH

Faith and Family Day!  The school will attend Holy Mass at 9:00 am.  Join us for Bible Jeopardy in Kohler Hall from 10:00 am – 11:00 am.  The family picnic lunch will be from 11:00 am – 12:00 pm.  The theme basket raffle will also take place.  Students may dress down.  There is a noon dismissal.

SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 6TH

Family Matinee!  Bring your favorite blanket and come join us as we enjoy our first ever Fatima Movie Matinee together!  Showtime is 5:30 pm!!!!

Don’t forget about the Book Fair that will be going on all week in Room 107!
